A quick stop on the way to the cottage -
Samuel and his friend, Ross, were helping to burn a pile of sticks. They were
careful not to let the flame get too high (they live near a fire station!).
David cheered them on from his "saucer" and Boots happily joined in
the activities.
Another "bonjour" on the way home
from the cottage - Sam was busy burning wood again, this time from a big yard clean up. A soft rain dampened the flames but some blowing
got it burning again. We had to answer some "pourquoi" questions to
explain this. Pourquoi is a favourite word of Sam's.
