Barbara's father's cousin, Mary Janet, has invited our
family to many New Year's dinners at her home. As André passed away, she
decided to move to Toronto to be
close to her daughter, Corinne, and family. She invited us for a final dinner
at her condo.
She prepared a delicious meal for us - David loved the
mushroom/kale soup.
After dinner, Mary Janet suggested a glass of champagne to
celebrate new beginnings - her move and Barbara's retirement.
The boys played together with lego. David happily ran around
the apartment. Samuel suggested a game of hide and seek.
Mary Janet offered us some of her things she no longer
needed. Sam was very happy to receive some of André's fishing equipment.
It was a happy family time together.
